Udanti Sanctuary
Udanti Sanctuary was established in 1983 after the Wildlife Protection Act of 1972 was passed. Located at a distance of 160 km from Raipur (nearest railway station-Rajim 115 Km), Udanti Wildlife Sanctuary is a small but an important wildlife sanctuary of Chhattisgarh region with an area of 232 sq km. Udanti Wildlife Sanctuary is famous for its population of Wild Buffalos. Udanti Sanctuary is a favourite haunt of the nature lovers.
Nandanvan Garden
Located about 15 km from Raipur on the banks of the Kharun River,a beautiful garden noted for its natural beauty attracts large number of tourists. There is a mini zoo with animals such as lions, tigers, panthers, and deer, and many others.
GhasiDas Memorial Museum
This museum is located near the D K Hospital in Raipur and was established by Raja Mahant Ghasidas of Rajnandgaon in the year1875. The museum has two floors featuring five galleries and features different sections including archaeology, anthropology and natural history. Besides, it also displays crafts, jewelry, paintings and terracotta belonging to tribal culture.
Burha Talab
Burha Talab is the largest lake in Raipur city. The beauty of the lake lies in its island situated in the middle of the lake, laced with green trees and gardens.
